Ristorante Enoteca Joja
About This Spot
Stepping into Ristorante Enoteca Joja feels like entering an inviting crossroads where tradition meets a quiet, modern elegance. Nestled on Via Carducci in Schio, this intimate spot maintains a gentle rhythm — unhurried, thoughtful, and alive with subtle charm. The warm glow of soft lighting reflects off rustic wooden details and polished wine racks, setting a mood that’s both relaxed and refined without ever being formal or distant.
The atmosphere here encourages lingering conversations, a shared appreciation for food and wine, and moments of genuine connection. It’s the kind of place where the clink of glasses blends seamlessly with friendly chatter, and where the staff’s approachable presence makes you feel more like an invited guest than a visitor.
At its heart, Joja’s kitchen crafts a quietly playful dialogue between local Veneto flavors and the wider coastal inspirations of Italy. Taste lingers in the memory from dishes that invite exploration — the gentle smokiness of cured fish, the earthy richness of Asiago paired with subtle truffle hints, and the vibrant freshness captured in raw seafood selections. Each plate feels considered, drawing from authentic ingredients that speak of place and season, presented with a modern touch that never overshadows their natural character.
Here, wine isn’t just a complement but a companion integral to the experience. The carefully curated enoteca showcases local bottles as much as thoughtfully chosen varietals from beyond, encouraging a pace that lets you savor both glass and bite. It’s evident that this is a space for those who appreciate the quiet joy found in shared meals and thoughtful discovery.
Whether you arrive for a leisurely lunch or a relaxed evening, Joja offers a comforting yet refreshing escape from the everyday — a reminder that food and drink can be a genuine invitation to connect, reflect, and enjoy the moment.

Went for the first time today for lunch, and had the sliced beef, potatoes and salad. Everything was excellent! Cooked to perfection! Complimenti allo chef Giovanni!!

It took us a while to find a good restaurant in the centre, according to Google reviews, but Joja was a good choice. They have an interesting menu, I tried all the seafood and it was very good. They serve local wines, where one glass is not enough, two is just right and you can have the third to go :-) The service was very nice, English was no problem. They described everything, explained everything and we spent a nice evening sitting outside on the street. This is an experience, you feel the real Italian atmosphere.

We ate at Jona this evening, having a last-minute-reservation. An experience to be repeated and recommended! The food was more than delicious, the menu was beautiful and with a lot of variation, the service very friendly and the atmosphere was nice and informal, friendly and correct at the same time. I was really surprised to see the cauliflower curry on the menu - a favorite dish with a beautiful taste. Whenever we will visit Schio again, we will surely come back to Jona.

My favorite place in town! I've been coming here for a few years on every visit, and bring everyone I can (so they fall in love with it too). Amazing wine, delicious and pretty food, and the best staff imaginable. Fish is their new Michelin star-experienced chef's specialty, and don't miss out on the deserts! The owner, Marco, is the best for the wine advice, and can match you with your new favorite. Definitely pay them a visit if you're in Schio, it's a gem.

Nice restaurant, short menu, all fresh and obviously very good wine selection from the chef.
